Santa Day Set-up 

The Parish Councillors and volunteers had a busy few days setting up and preparing for Santa Day. They worked tirelessly creating Santa's magical grotto, decorating the community room and packing gifts ready for Santa's visit.

Saturday 10th December, Bell Lane Community Centre was filled with excited families waiting to see Santa. Parish Councillors were all dressed for the occasion in their festive attire all ready for a busy day. The wonderful staff and volunteers at Ackworth Community Library supported the event by serving refreshments and organising seasonal activities added to the festive experience. All families from Ackworth or children in Ackworth schools 11years and under are invited to this annual event. The Parish Councillors who supported this event donated a huge amount of time to make the event such a success.
