Wildflower Planting
S&D Landscapes have generously offered their support and have carried out the ground preparation at no charge, as a gesture of goodwill to the village.
First Impressions will be sowing the wildflower seeds on Sunday 25th April (weather permitting). Germination takes approximately 2 weeks. The seeds are called Meadow Glint and are a mixture of perennials and annuals and should produce a good display throughout the summer and up to September/October.

Parish Councillors Amanda Cook, Martin Roberts and John Bell from the Village Facilities Committee, can be seen here installing the signage at the locations benefiting from this venture, which are:
Ackworth Cemetery
High Ackworth Village Green
Carr Bridge
Low Ackworth triangular grassed verge
